Updated Version of uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Xerox V1.1.0

NT-ware today announces the latest release (V1.1.0) of the uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Xerox.

The uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Xerox V1.1.0 provides a device integrated solution to enable device locking, job release from a secure print queue, print and copy accounting and integration with the native scanning process of Xerox devices. This latest release provides enhanced accounting, improved stability, performance and security. It can also use some of the hardware keys of the control panel.

What’s new in V 1.1.0?

Enhanced accounting
The previous version of the Embedded Applet for Xerox utilised spool file accounting only, which is limited to printing. This latest release has been upgraded to now include session based accounting as well whereby uniFLOW records all print and copy jobs whilst users are actually logged into the device. This means that even when there are power supply or network connectivity issues, all print and copy activity is tracked and allocated correctly to individual users.

Usage of device buttons
This latest release of the uniFLOW Embedded Applet for Xerox allows users to use the following hardware keys of the control panel of the device making it easier to use:
•    “RESET” key - this will reset all settings a user has entered or changed at the control panel
•    “CLEAR” key -  this will clear all numeric values entered via the keypad
•    “ID/Access” key -  this key will authenticate or log out users

Additional device support
With V 1.1.0, the list of supported devices has been updated to now include all latest Xerox models.
